Players draft cards from a shared pool called the River to assemble a Viking longboat, taking turns to add crew, loot, and special items to their tableau. Glory points come from multiple sources: loyal crew, collected loot, and the effects of card combinations. Special cards trigger abilities that affect scoring and interactions, such as stealing loot or imposing penalties on opponents.
