Lords of Heaven

Lead one of four asymmetric powers—the Latin Christian Crusaders, Byzantine Empire, Fatimid Caliphate, or Seljuks—in a struggle for control of Jerusalem and the medieval Middle East. Play action cards to build units, fortresses, and temples, move troops, fight battles, and develop territories. Rivalry and cooperation between Christian and Islamic factions shape the contest, while political influence and development can be as important as conquest. Short scenarios and a campaign revisit the first two Crusades.
