Mediterranean (fan expansion for Ticket to Ride: Rails and Sails)

A fan-made expansion for the Rails & Sails system that adds a Mediterranean map, special cards and optional rules to be used with the base game’s train, ship, harbour pieces and color cards. Players collect train and ship cards, claim sea and land routes, and complete destination tickets to score points, while new Tourist cards reward visiting specific cities and nine bonus objectives provide additional scoring opportunities. The expansion introduces alternate setup and turn options—card exchange at start, discarding and redrawing, extra-point actions, and an optional end-game trigger when a player’s wagon stock reaches three—letting groups tailor game length and strategy.
