Minimus: Roleplaying Distilled to its Essence

A rules-light roleplaying game of interactive storytelling. The game master and players establish a theme, such as star-spanning traders, Vikings, or the fall of Rome, while players create characters with goals and relationships that shape the story’s plots. The game master adjudicates disputes and structures events, while players describe their characters’ actions, including successes and failures. A deck of playing cards sequences tasks, and twenty-sided dice resolve uncertain outcomes. The core rules fit on two pages.
