Winter has covered the realm in snow and ice, while food shortages and rising tensions threaten the rebuilding kingdoms. The Werefolk are disappearing, and some return as ravenous cannibals created for a greater purpose. This story-driven expansion continues the events of the core game, with choices from the previous adventure leading to different story paths. Experienced Champions gain updated abilities as players face a new Villain, Foes, and Epic Foes. New Resource cards, including spells that influence the map, accompany rules for customizing Resource decks to suit different strategies.
