Players cooperate as Royal Gardeners in a whimsical, story-driven setting, using logic, deduction, and discussion to arrange a garden to match changing whims. Each round reveals new Whim cards and clues; players place shrub tiles and manage limited actions to satisfy pattern and color requirements before time or penalties run out. The deluxe set upgrades components with acrylic tiles, dual-layered boards, miniatures and a custom insert, and integrates an expansion that adds escape-themed objectives, extra cards, tokens and larger player-specific pieces. Gameplay emphasizes shared deduction, pattern recognition and planning under shifting constraints.
