Players lead prehistoric tribes, assigning members to hunt polyomino-shaped prey and then paint the results on a cave wall. Each round begins with a simultaneous, secret bid that determines turn order and how many hunters are available; hunters are allocated to one or more hunting locations to capture animals, with larger prey requiring more hunters and close calls potentially wounding hunters and reducing future resources. In the painting phase, collected animal tiles are placed on a personal 7x7 cave grid according to placement rules and orientation constraints, and completing specified patterns set by the Elders earns totem tokens. The first player to discard eight totem tokens wins.
