Reluctant Enemies: Operation Exporter

A 1941 campaign in the Levant in which Commonwealth and Free French forces invade Vichy-held Syria and Lebanon. Players maneuver company- to corps-level formations over a single map covering desert approaches, river lines and rugged mountain terrain. Gameplay uses the Operational Combat System at a reduced scale: units represent companies through corps, turns cover one to two days, and hexes are 2.5 miles. Combat, supply, limited armor, naval shore bombardment and a small air campaign all affect operations, while amphibious options and shifting reinforcements influence strategic choices. Supply constraints and effective Vichy counterattacks force tense decision-making as players press for key cities and lines before an armistice can be achieved.
