Players are inmates in a lethal, shifting prison made of modular rooms; the goal for most is to locate the secret exit room while some players secretly work to prevent escape. Each round, players secretly program a sequence of moves and actions for their characters, then reveal and execute them in order, resolving movement, room effects and encounters. The game supports cooperative and hidden-identity social modes, plus solo play, and accommodates 1–8 players. This edition combines the base content with the first expansion, adding new room types, characters and cards that increase variability and tactical options.
