In Rhun, magic is widespread and ancient Giants lie dormant beneath the earth, defeated long ago by piloted constructs known as Rune Stryders. After the gods destroyed the first civilizations and withdrew from the world, scattered survivors gradually formed new nations and rediscovered the sigils used to create magical artifacts and war machines. This EABA setting details Rhun’s peoples, cultures, nations, and conflicts, along with its flexible rune-based magic system and the construction and use of magically powered Stryders.
