Russian Front

A strategic-level wargame that simulates the Eastern Front, 1941–44, with players commanding Soviet and Axis forces across a large hex map. Play proceeds in monthly turns on a 25-mile-per-hex grid; units represent corps, armies, fleets and flotillas and operate in land, air and sea domains. Combat uses a hex-based system with incremental losses and multi-round battles; armor units can attempt breakthroughs and deeper blitz advances. Scenarios cover campaign starts in 1941, 1942 and 1943, with variable game length from single six‑month segments to the full campaign. Basic, Advanced and Optional rules let players choose complexity; playtime ranges from a few hours to a full-day session depending on scenario and rule set.
