Players take on roles as the crew of a lone spaceship escorted by an advanced onboard AI, tasked with delivering critical cargo across procedurally varied sectors. The game blends cooperative play and solo options with tower-defense mechanics: players assign crew, repair and fortify vital rooms, and deploy automated defenses while managing resources and environmental hazards. Each scenario presents different threats—alien attackers, hazardous locales, and random events—requiring coordination and quick adaptation to protect ship systems. Victory occurs by reaching the delivery point with the ship’s vital rooms intact; mission failure happens if key systems are destroyed.
