The Far Side of Nowhere

Thousands of parsecs from Charted Space, the Travellers reach an isolated enclave of humans and Droyne who know nothing of the Imperium or its neighbours. With the Deepnight Revelation’s jump drive nearing failure, the crew must seek repairs at the dangerous freeport of Tradeport and become involved in its turbulent politics. They also encounter mysterious intelligent plant beings whose biological starships are expanding into human space, while the wreck of a human battlecruiser hints at the conflict ahead.
