The Flow of Fresh Brains

This short Dungeons & Dragons adventure is designed for four 11th-level player characters and features aberrations from Lords of Madness: The Book of Aberrations. The scenario begins on a major trade route near a medium or large city before leading the characters aboard an illithid nautiloid. The adventure uses horror-focused guidelines and includes several encounters with unusually high challenge levels, making severe injury or character death possible. It is not tied to a specific setting and can be adapted to fit an existing campaign.
