The Mystery of Dattakamo

In an ancient civilization, people shaped clay artifacts inspired by the world around them, distant places, and their imagination. After the civilization is lost, the strange and sometimes broken works are excavated and studied by a professor and students. One player imagines what an artifact represents while the others investigate it by touch. Over three rounds of discussion, they ask questions and try to identify the professor’s idea. A correct guess claims the artifact. Players take turns as professor, and the player who collects the most artifacts wins. The game can also be played by visually impaired players.

Much more exciting than expected. It is a game about using imagination, such as Dixit, Mysteryum, but with much simpler rules. The artifacts are handmade, very nice, and they belong supposedly to an ancient lost civilitzation. The professor decides mentally what an artifact is and the pupils -the other players- must guess it. On their turn they may choose one out of three actions: to ask a question (with a yes or no answer), to ask for a hint, or to make a guess. A filler perfect for playing in a bar with beers at hand.
