The Road From Mandalay: a very Indian Blitzkrieg, Pyawbwe 1945

Set during the 1945 advance through Burma, this campaign follows an Indian Army column trying to cut off retreating Japanese forces at Pyawbwe before the monsoon arrives. Six linked scenarios cover assaults, defended crossings, village roadblocks and an armoured clash. The Indian player must keep the advance moving while preserving troops for later battles; the Japanese player uses resistance to delay the column. Includes historical background, campaign rules, force lists, support options and scenario maps. Requires Chain of Command², the Far East Handbook and At the Sharp End² to play.
