Unbroken

Play as the sole survivor of a failed expedition trying to escape a hostile underworld after a monster attack. This solo card game has players gather resources, craft weapons from scraps, and develop abilities to face progressively tougher monsters. Gameplay focuses on managing a limited pool of resources and choosing between brute force, trickery, and skillful combinations to survive encounters. Setup and play are quick; decisions about which resources to invest in and how to adapt equipment determine whether the lone character can endure the threats and find a way out.

A Clever resource management game disguised as an adventure game. Good theme integration, agonizing to juggle what to do when, and pretty easy to follow directions. One of the better slightly heaver lunchtime solo games. However like most games of this ilk, it is like playing a spreadsheet with flavor text.
