Airborne Commander

Solitaire World War II deck-building game depicting the 101st Airborne Division’s actions in support of the D-Day landings. Begin with a small force of paratroopers and recruit cards from the drop zone while facing German troops, armor, fortifications, and difficult terrain. Assign airborne cards to the Battleground, Support Area, or Reserve, using small arms, artillery, air strikes, bazookas, and other weapons to defeat enemies and capture objectives. Combat can cause losses and add disorganized cards to the deck, creating a tense struggle to maintain and improve the force.
