An Otter Won

Players build a personal otter den by drafting cards and meeting scoring conditions on cards already in their hand. Public otter cards are revealed in a river each round alongside a neutral setup card that alters whether high or low values win tricks. Players take turns resolving tricks: the round winner assigns the three involved cards to locations—opponent den, own den, or back to the river—so placement and timing matter for triggering personal scoring effects. Rounds repeat until endgame scoring tallies how well each den satisfies its card conditions.
