Atlantis Rising (Second Edition)

Players cooperate as citizens of a sinking island, assigning workers to locations to collect resources and construct a cosmic escape gate before the land is lost. Workers placed nearer the shore yield greater rewards but risk being flooded and removed by misfortune cards that progressively submerge shoreline tiles. Each turn players draw a misfortune that floods locations or triggers other setbacks, then take worker-placement actions to gather materials, power gate components, research knowledge, and use expanded councilor powers. Built gate components become new action spaces, and an end-of-round flooding phase forces the group to balance high-reward placements with long-term survival while racing against the shrinking map.
