Barrakuda

Players dive among colonial shipwrecks to collect gold and secure it in a personal vault while a barracuda prowls the sites. Each round, players secretly select movement or barracuda cards, reveal simultaneously, and move their diver or the predator accordingly. When a single diver occupies a wreck (and the barracuda is absent) they perform that wreck’s special and general actions; contested wrecks resolve initiative by counting played movement cards and allow either a special action or stealing an opponent’s bagged gold before the general action. The barracuda forces divers to drop gold it reaches, and cards provide actions for picking up gold, banking it in the vault, protecting from the predator, reclaiming movement cards, and manipulating the barracuda’s position. The first to lock a set amount of gold in their vault wins.
