Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards: Panic at the Pleasure Palace

Players take the roles of irreverent battle wizards competing in a chaotic spellcasting contest at a decadent resort. Each turn, players draft spell components, assemble offensive and defensive spells, and resolve over-the-top effects that target other wizards and the game state. The game adds magically transmitted diseases as a mechanic: afflictions alter player abilities and provide glyphs that enable larger, more powerful spells. Players also contest control of a protective standee that shields its controller from some disease effects while the rest of the table attempts to disrupt opponents through hazard cards and direct damage.
