Spór o Bór

Two players compete over nine boundary stones by forming three-card hands on their side of each stone. Players play numbered cards to build poker-like formations; higher-ranking formations win the stone. A player may claim a stone early by proving the opponent can no longer beat the current formation, using deduction as well as card play. The round ends when a player claims five stones or any three adjacent stones. Gameplay focuses on hand construction, timing of claims, and reading which stones can still be contested.

Pytania o zasady

Odpowiedzi z instrukcji od asystenta zasad Ludoya.

How many cards can I place on one side of a Stone?

A Stone cannot have more than three cards on each side of the border; once placed, a card cannot be moved (p.6).

When am I allowed to claim a Stone?

After playing a card and before drawing, you may claim Stones, but you can only claim a Stone once each player has played three cards on their side of the border, except if you can prove (using only already-played cards) that your opponent cannot beat your combination with any single remaining play (p.7).

Can I claim more than one Stone on my turn?

Yes — after you play a card and before drawing, you can claim one or several Stones if you meet the claiming conditions (p.7).

If both sides have the same type of combination, how is the tie resolved?

Tied combination types are decided first by the highest total strength; if totals are still equal, the player who played his third card on the Stone first claims it (p.8).

Once I claim a Stone, can either player still add cards to it?

No — when you take control of a Stone you place it beneath your cards and from then on no Clan cards may be played on that Stone, even if your combination was incomplete when claimed (p.8).

How many Tactic cards can I play ahead of my opponent?

You may have as many Tactic cards in hand (within the seven-card hand limit), but you cannot play more than one card more than your opponent has played; if you are already one Tactic card ahead, you must wait until your opponent plays one (p.12).
