Suburbia: Collector's Edition

Players build their own cities by placing hex-shaped building tiles that represent residential, commercial, civic, industrial, and specialty locations. Tiles interact with neighboring pieces to generate income and reputation, which together drive population growth as each player develops an economic engine and infrastructure. Players buy tiles, manage cash, and plan tile placement to maximize synergies and meet shifting local goals that provide population bonuses. This edition uses upgraded three-dimensional artwork, oversized tiles, recessed borough boards, a large tile tower, and organizer inserts, and it includes every expansion plus a new set of evening-themed locations.

Ok tile-placement game, but felt very multiplayer-soltaire and overstayed its welcome for what it was.

Too expensive for what it is. I have the retail edition and do not have some of the kickstarter exclusives like the plastic pieces to easily tell apart the various buildings which is a huge miss for a collector's box. Probably the base game only is a better value for money, especially now with the new edition that shares the iconography and tile size with the collector's edition. Setting up and then packing everything back takes its time and is a game of itself.
