The Battles of Mollwitz 1741 and Chotusitz 1742

This historical wargame covers the battles of Mollwitz (1741) and Chotusitz (1742), early engagements in the First Silesian War and the first major battles of Frederick the Great’s career. Players command Prussian and Austrian forces using period-style maps, counters, and standard series rules. At Mollwitz, Prussian infantry advance across snowy fields while Austrian cavalry delays and disrupts the attack. At Chotusitz, Austrian forces must strike quickly against an isolated part of the Prussian army before reinforcements arrive. Each battle uses a single map and a relatively small counter set.
