Triumph & Tragedy: European Balance of Power 1936-1945

Three great powers vie for dominance in Europe and beyond during 1936–1945, representing competing capitalist, communist, and fascist systems. Players manage diplomacy, production, investment and military forces across a large Eurasia-to-Americas map using hidden-force block units, Action and Investment cards, and economic markers. Production fuels building units, buying cards, or increasing industry; diplomacy via Action cards gains control of minor nations and their population/resources. Military operations use Command cards to move and fight with infantry, armor, air, naval and submarine blocks; combat, supply, and industrial bombing affect long-term strength. Victory can come from economic hegemony, technological supremacy (developing and delivering an atomic weapon), or by capturing enemy capitals in war.
