Guide a pilgrim along an ascending or descending route of roads, hills, and rivers, completing patterns to consecrate seven shrines. Play cards from hand to extend the Journey, using resets and foresight to manage the route while Temptations and Hardships add burdens and deplete resources. Each shrine grants a blessing that changes the rules until another shrine is claimed, creating choices about when to push forward, recover, or accept penalties.
