A campaign setting for a space-opera roleplaying game in a human-centered universe recovering from the collapse of a great empire. On the isolated planet Essex, society is limited to roughly 18th-century technology until the queen assigns the characters an ancient starship and a mission to explore and establish a new space empire. The supplement presents Essex’s political situation, maps, and optional rules that can be used with various RPG systems. It serves as a starting point for a broader campaign and is not a standalone adventure.
