Dead Man's Hand

A 28mm skirmish game of gunfights in the Old West, featuring bands of Cowboys, Lawmen, Outlaws, and Desperados. Players recreate historical and cinematic shootouts across twelve scenarios using miniatures and scenery. Initiative is determined by placing cards face down beside each character and revealing them to establish the activation order. Each model declares and takes three actions when activated, with special effects and cards able to alter the sequence. Movement uses simple rules, while combat includes pistols, rifles, repeaters, and shotguns; although a single shot can be fatal, attrition usually decides the fight.
