Hocus

Cast spells and trick opponents in this lighthearted poker variant. Players use spells to place cards in shared Communities, build Pots, and create hidden Pockets. During Showdowns, each Pocket combines with a Community to form a hand, with the best hand claiming the points in its Pot. Multiple Communities allow players to compete in several Showdowns, while eight spell books provide different abilities for manipulating cards and the flow of play. Timing matters, as strong hands are only valuable when enough points have been added to the Pot.
