Story War

A card game for 3–8 players that combines storytelling and combat with references to mythology, folklore, and popular culture. Players choose Warrior cards to represent them, work together against opponents, and use Item cards such as Excalibur or a Flying Carpet to change the course of battle. Each battle takes place on a Battlefield with terrain that can affect the action. Players describe their characters’ actions to the judge, who decides whether each idea is allowed. After the battle, the judging role passes to the player on the judge’s left. A full game takes about 30 minutes.
