Yokozuna

Yokozuna is a board game for 2 players. It plays in 5–25 minutes and is meant for ages 12 and up.

Fast-paced sumo matches in a compact card game. Players take the roles of rikishi, choosing moves from cards and reading their opponent’s strategy to push them out of the ring or force them to the ground. Before each round, janken determines which player attacks and which defends. Attack cards also represent stamina, while grapples can exhaust an opponent’s hand. Players can bait blocks, set up combos, dodge attacks with a henka, and counter opposing moves. Multiple difficulty settings, optional expansion cards, and janken cards add variety.
