Fate of the Elder Gods

Players take the roles of competing cults racing to summon an ancient god while investigators try to seal the gate to beyond. On each turn players use spell cards either to move around a circular Fate Clock board using a spell’s Astral Symbol or to ready spells by matching symbols in a location’s Astral Column; readied spells and a spell reserve create an engine for future actions. Visiting six locations grants abilities and artifacts, and placing many cultists at a site can grant control bonuses. High activity attracts investigators who place Elder Signs; accumulating too many Elder Signs ends the game in investigators’ favor. The first cult to fill its Summon Track to nine awakens its god and wins.
