Kawaguchi's Gamble: Edson's Ridge – The Battle for Guadalcanal

Tactical-level Area-Impulse Game about the Battle of Edson's Ridge during the Guadalcanal campaign. Players command Japanese attackers and Marine defenders in a five-turn battle for the ridge protecting the airfield, with alternating impulses of variable length. Banzai charges, key leaders, gas attacks, and hastily assembled defenders are represented.
