Players act as landowners in a scenic Bulgarian valley, claiming plots, placing field cards and building houses to develop estates across sequential seasons. Gameplay runs over four years (each with four seasons); each season a player places a field card, places a house to claim an estate, may take a goal card if conditions are met, and draws a field card. Field cards can overlap, creating a shifting landscape that affects expansion and scoring. Players grow roses, lavender and vineyards, keep beehives for honey, build larger houses for extra points, and may form cooperatives to share harvests. Victory is determined by points from harvests, goals, estates and conservation actions.
