Star Catcher

Star Catcher is a board game for 2–4 players. It plays in 15–20 minutes and is meant for ages 8 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 4.

A card-catching game in which players compete to collect stars and score points. Each round, four cards are placed face-up on the table while players receive hands of cards. On a turn, a player plays a card to catch table cards with the same number or a matching total; Magnet Cards catch all Diamond Cards but not Circle Cards. Clearing the table earns a Bonus Card worth a star. After the initial hands are played, players receive more cards without replenishing the table. Unmatched cards remain available for later turns, while cards left when the deck is exhausted score nothing. Players earn one point per star and a three-point bonus for collecting the most non-star cards. After one round per player, the highest cumulative score wins.
