The Great Library

Players take the roles of chief librarians in an ancient center of learning, managing the collection and reputation of a monumental library. On each turn they research Great Works, train Scribes to translate Manuscripts, produce Crafts and send these items to the library to earn Renown, Improvements, and recruit visiting Scholars. Gameplay centers on resource management and timing: players allocate Time and personnel to generate and deliver resources, trigger generational Events, and attract influential scholars to advance their programs. The game ends when late-stage Events occur or the library fills, and the player with the most Renown is the victor.
