Amazing game, but sometimes the Kick-out action can lead to frustrating games

Regelfrågor

Besvarat ur regelboken av Ludoyas regelassistent.

When I buy a work at the Artists' Colony, do I place it directly in my gallery or somewhere else?

When you buy a work you pay its price (including the Artist Fame/commission), gain any listed Fame/bonuses, then place the work into one of your gallery display spaces and handle Signature tokens and Visitor placement as instructed (pages 7–8).

How does signing a contract in the Sales Office work — can I cover any display slot and what about tickets?

You may take a contract and place it into any display slot (it may cover an existing work); placing a contract on an empty slot also requires placing a ticket there, and a display that already has three contracts is blocked from receiving more (page 9).

When I sell a work, what exactly happens to the art, the Signature token, and the Visitor?

On a sale you follow the sale steps: collect the sale income, remove the work from your gallery and return its Signature token, move the Visitor as specified, flip/resolve the contract slot, and apply any Collector bonuses (page 10).

How do tickets work for moving Visitors — are there limits or when are tickets discarded?

Tickets are spent to move Visitors per the movement rules; ticket-taking and discarding follow the rules (including color-specific limits), and there is intermediate scoring triggered when ticket piles deplete — consult the ticket rules for taking, discards, and limits (page 14).

What does it mean when a Visitor is 'Kicked-Out' — where do they go and what do they do?

A Kicked-Out Visitor performs the Kicked-Out action printed for that Location and then returns home (or to the bag) according to the return-home rules; Kicked-Out results and any follow-up effects are described in the Kicked-Out section (pages 5–6, 18).

How does making an offer in the International Market work and what do Reputation tiles do?

Making an offer in the International Market follows the auction/offer steps (place offer, resolve bonuses, place Assistant if required); taking a Reputation tile grants the immediate effect printed (influence, visitor movement, assistant placement, etc.) and modifies market resolution as described (pages 12–13).
