1001 Odysseys
The first human faster-than-light ship enters an unexplored sector of the galaxy through an alien stargate. Players take the roles of its bridge crew as they explore planets, encounter unfamiliar aliens, and search for a way home. Each session presents a cooperative chapter from a branching story. Players combine an Action, Mission, and Location to form codes, then consult the story book for the next scene, instructions, and choices. Progress, items, and chapter data are recorded in a Passport, allowing different groups to continue the adventure. Four story books provide approximately 400 pages of content, with chapters lasting around 30–75 minutes.
