A shifting power struggle in the Roman Republic following Julius Caesar’s assassination, as five suitors compete to become the first Emperor of Rome. Players scheme, conspire and collaborate while building Imperium, challenging the current Imperium Maius and taking opportunities to weaken their rivals. Across six years, the Senate awards control to the most powerful leader, and the player with the most Imperium becomes the new Caesar.
