Bobby Lee: The Civil War in Virginia 1861-1865

Play as the Union or Confederate forces in a block-based simulation of the eastern theater of the American Civil War, covering Maryland, Pennsylvania and eastern Virginia from 1861–1865. Units are represented by upright wooden blocks that hide unit identity and track strength by rotation, creating fog of war and multi-step damage without complex bookkeeping. Gameplay mixes a strategic map layer with localized battle maps that allow center and flank positioning during combat. Components include a large card-stock regional map and numerous wooden blocks; the system is compatible with a companion title to combine both theaters for larger campaigns.
