Extraordinary Adventures: Pirates!

Players take the role of pirate captains sailing three ships through the Caribbean in search of merchant vessels to plunder and ports where booty can be traded for treasure. Each turn, three cards are played to move ships along separate tracks toward a Spanish treasure galleon. Cards provide movement and often secondary actions, while detours offer opportunities to raid merchants, visit towns, recruit crew, and improve the deck. Players weigh these gains against pressing onward. The game ends when a ship reaches the treasure galleon, and captains score for their ships' finishing positions and treasures earned from plunder.
