Players build and manage a medieval town by recruiting workers, constructing buildings, and developing guilds to score points. The box combines the base game with an expansion that adds assistant characters and additional guild options, plus a promo pack that introduces three new guilds — Contractors, Rules Lawyers, and Sentries. Gameplay centers on worker placement and card drafting: players assign workers to actions, play or acquire building and guild cards, and use assistants to modify or enhance turns. Rounds progress through income, action selection, and upkeep while players balance short-term gains with long-term tableau development.
