Dark Domains

Players take the role of rival city leaders expanding the frontier into contested hinterlands while secretly serving a dark master. Each player builds a Domain that outwardly appears prosperous but gradually decays as evil influence spreads, populated by Minions, Henchmen, Monsters and magical effects. Gameplay uses worker placement to assign agents and develop locations, while tarot-style cards introduce events and drive the game’s phases. Players score by increasing their Domain’s evil presence (tracked with skulls) while managing incursions from a roaming company of heroes that seeks to thwart dark plans.
