Age of Mythology: The Boardgame

Develop Egyptian, Norse, and Greek civilizations by exploring the world, claiming production sites, and gathering resources. Build structures that improve production and battle abilities, then recruit armies of mortal warriors, heroes, priests, and mythical creatures. Resolve battles with cards and dice as the civilizations compete for control.

A much better game that I expected being based off a computer game. It has a few similarities to puerto rico that plenty of people have mentioned. My only two major problems with the game are that 1) my wife doesn't like it because it has "combat" and 2) it's a bit long at the 2 hour mark for a 2 player game. I'm sure some of the combat fixes/options that are posted here would help with that, but I can't be bothered to try them as of now.
