The Jaws of Victory: Battle of Korsun-Cherkassy Pocket – January/February 1944

A 2-map simulation of the January-February 1944 battle of the Korsun-Cherkassy Pocket, where Soviet forces encircle German units in Ukraine and German panzer divisions attempt a relief operation. Seven scenarios cover the campaign from January 26 to February 18, including a 25-turn campaign game. Players conduct offensive and defensive operations at battalion-to-division scale, managing encirclements, supply, bad weather, and mud across daily turns and 2-mile hexes.
