A Touch of Evil: Dark Gothic

Players take the roles of monster-hunting heroes defending a colonial town from villains and monsters while managing their personal decks. Gameplay centers on deck-building using three currencies—combat (red), cunning (green) and spirit (blue)—to acquire cards from a shared market or always-available piles, fight enemies, and score investigation points. Each hero has a distinct starting deck and special ability. A villain stack of three difficulty levels threatens the town, and accumulating ten cards in the shadows causes a collective loss. Special "Dark Secrets" can enter decks as negative endgame points but trigger immediate disruptive effects if drawn, creating risk-reward decisions throughout play.
