Players run competing Egyptian dynasties over three Kingdoms, acquiring province cards through a repeating auction and then developing those provinces with pyramids and fields. Each round features three simultaneous auctions where players place a single face-up money card to bid on revealed provinces; outbid cards are returned and bidding continues until everyone holds a single won province. Province cards show pyramids, ankhs and fields and can include caravans; the player with the most visible ankhs becomes Pharaoh and acts first. After the auctions, players make secret gold offerings to set Nile flood income, receive pyramids based on offerings, allocate income to build pyramids (distributed across provinces), draw money cards, and score for pyramid sets, field counts and ankhs. Provinces claimed in later rounds are stacked so only visible symbols matter for future auctions and scoring.
