Apophis: The Curse

Players maneuver colored pieces across a shared board aiming to reach an opponent’s Anubis square before the rest. A single neutral central piece, Apophis, is the only means to remove other pieces from the board; all players take turns moving it alongside their own pieces. Each player’s pieces and the Apophis piece have defined special moves, and the board contains restricted zones that cannot be crossed. If Apophis enters a player’s personal zone that player becomes Cursed and cannot move their own pieces until Apophis leaves; eliminating an enemy piece with Apophis grants extra moves. The game supports two-player or two-versus-two play and emphasizes strategic, medium-term planning.
