Art of the Duel

A supplement that details dueling and competitive practices across a fantasy samurai setting. It presents clan-specific contests—from sword duels and naginata and archery matches to horsemanship, wrestling, storytelling, debates and drinking games—and explains the cultural context and purposes of each rite. Mechanically, it adds new schools, paths, katas and advanced techniques, offers optional faster duel-resolution rules, and includes systems for multi-combatant tournaments and courtly competitions. It also provides guidance for staging a setting-wide championship and running these events within a campaign.
